Everybody let's go gay

It's a bit of an enigma
When you watch the parade,
Everybody wants to be gay.
The corporate bankers
Are leading the way
Everybody wants to be gay.
Now if you wanna march
Well you, have to have paid,
Cos, everybody wants to be gay.
And it's so co-ool,
If only for a day,
That everybody wants to be gay

Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Everybody let's go gay

Well Alan Turing
He saved the day
When it wasn't cool to be gay.
The father of computing
The state made him pay
Cos it wasn't cool to be gay.
And there have been murders
That were charged as affrays,
When it wasn't cool to be gay.
And tomorrow
It'll be just the same
Cos it won't be cool to be gay

Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Everybody let's go gay

National treasures
May be leading the way
Saying it's good to be gay
But still there are faces
Twisted in hate
When you say it's good to be gay
Yes still there a places
Where it just isn't safe
To sing if you're glad to be gay...

So I will march with a Pride in my heart
Until my brothers, my sisters, are safe
Yes I will march with a Pride in my heart
Until we've outed hate
Yes I will march with a Pride in my heart
And say I'm glad that you're gay.
Yes I will march with a Pride in my heart
Forever and for a day

Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Everybody let's go gay
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Everybody let's go gay

And if love's a sin
Then nobody wins
So everybody let's go gay
