I dont like the me I would have been

I don't like the me I would have been
Could have been
That suited alpha
Male dog
Compensating with a car,
With a house
With a job
For that little boy
Was a little lost
To the cocaine crevice
Of a WAG's d├ęcolletage
Or the margaritas and
Souless Sangrias
On sunny beaches in
Lands that are too far
From the rolling hills
Of my home,
My shangri-la
I don't like the me I would have been
We're it not, for my queen
Loving that naughty,
Little
boy in me
