Dreaming of where we’re going
When we’re going slow
Thinking that we will be seeing
Somewhere else to go
Seeing as you’re asking -
How can I say no?
No way, no where, no how, no here, no there, no when, no one

Believing that I’m something special
How could I think so
Waiting for a change in the weather
Wishing it would snow
Seeing as you’re asking -
How can I say no?
No way, no where, no how, no here, no there, no when, no one

Back me up, mama; Help me out
I sure am devout
No faith in the lord
Nor the law of the land
Justify my irony
Help me understand
Back me up mama; Hang around
I wonder just how
Deep it goes
Back me up mama; Tie me down
I sure like to roam
The wind may silenced
By the Science of man
But life has a habit of
Making no sense

Dreaming of where we’re going
When we’re going slow
Thinking that we will be seeing
Somewhere else to go
Seeing as you’re asking -
How can I say no?
No way, no where, no how, no here, no there, no when, no one

Believing that I’m something special
How could I think so
Waiting for a change in the weather
Wishing it would snow
Seeing as you’re asking -
How can I say no?
No way, no where, no how, no here, no there, no when, no one

Back me up mama; Tie me down
I sure like to roam
The wind may silenced
By the Science of man
But life has a habit of
Making no sense
Back me up mama; Help me out
I just want to
Stand my ground…
