My mind's eye

In my mind's eye I am snow blind
For 'tis only you that fills my time

It bothers me when I see your legs
Tumbling by in crowds of strangers
Especially when I know just where
I left them

It drives me mad to see your features
Plaster'd upon other people
Especially when I see your lips
Grace another's face

'tis only you that fills my time
For loving you's my major crime

It leaves me feeling somewhat troubled
When I confront your living double
'specially when I know you were
Irreplaceable

It grinds me down when your breasts bounce
As other women parade about
Especially when I find I peek
As if as like I were a creep

And loving you's my major crime
In my mind's eye I am snow blind

I detest the way you dissipate
Your body parts about the place
And remind me day by day by day
That you are buried so far away
