Shadowy figure of death

I saw the
Shadowy figure of death last night
Out of the corner of my eye
A tapping his foot and waiting
He was dressed up to the nines
He said "don't hurry yourself dear brother,
Just relax and take your time.
Don't worry yourself dear brother
But you are the next in line"

I saw the
Shadowy figure of death last night
Said he was working overtime
The world's been busy lately
One too many genocide's
I said "Fair cop, I've not done enough,
I've been idling through my time.
I thought I was a hero
But I was just a passer by"
