An honourable man

If I have another chip
There's a danger I'll be sick
If I have another drink
There's a danger I will piss
If I have another cigarette
There's a danger I will shit
If I have another day
There's a danger I will drift

There's a danger in my pocket
And a danger in my pants
There's a danger in my head
And a danger in my hands
There's a danger standing up
And a danger lying down
There's a danger in the air
That follows me around

If I take another dainty step
There's a chance that I will dance
If I take another flighty kiss
There's a chance for some romance
If I take another little rub
There's a chance to make a wish
If I take another little look
There's a chance that I will miss

There's a chancer round the corner
And a chancer up the street
There's a chancer in the glances
Of the chance, people that you meet
There's chances to be good
And chances to be free
And the chances are that
You're crippled by disease

If I give a little danger
I should take a little chance
With a little give and take
I'm an honourable man
